1992 Cornelia Connelly declared Venerable - Congregation for the Causes of the Saints recommended to the Pope that he proclaim the heroic virtue of Cornelia as a Servant of God.
Next Step Beatification - A verified first miracle is needed. Then a statement from the Church is given recognizing “worthy of belief” that the Venerable Cornelia Connelly is in Heaven and saved.
Final Step Canonization - a second miracle is needed.
