Hope Partnership: Coming Full Circle

Rose Martin, RSM, Executive Director, Hope Partnership for Education

Hope Partnership for Education is a co-sponsored ministry of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus.

Meet Hope Partnership’s new Enrichment and Summer Program Coordinator, Ms. Brittany Tannehill. This insightful, brave and bold young woman has already made a big splash. She quickly organized the first cycle of enrichment activities – class offerings include Book Club, Creative Writing, Editor’s Desk, Everyday Science, Spoken Word, and Yoga. But Ms. Tannehill is not all about work. She loves corny jokes and “can’t function without music – especially rhythm and blues.”

Ms. Tannehill received her BA in Human Services/Anthropology from Lincoln University and is on track to complete her MA in Human Services in December. Her advice to young people, “never allow your current situation to keep you stagnant. Remember that no one is perfect and in order to succeed you have to fail. Speak things into existence!” By the way, Brittany is an alumna from Hope Partnership’s first graduating class. When talking about her new job, Brittany said, “I know that I’m viewed as a role model. I believe that the best way for me to give back is to give back to the place that was so instrumental in my growth. Hope is home!”
