Siria Ana Rivera – Executive Director, Providence Center

Providence Center is a sponsored ministry of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus.

Providence Center has officially kicked off the 2025–2026 Power Afterschool program, welcoming students, Teen Leaders, and staff for another year of learning, growth, and community building.

On day one, students participated in team-building activities designed to foster trust, connection, and confidence. The energy was fun and welcoming as returning students reconnected with their friends and new students began to find their place in the group. It was a reminder of what’s possible when young people are given safe, structured spaces to grow.

We are especially proud to welcome our new Program Coordinator, Ja’Qirah Wright-Whitney, who brings over five years of experience designing dynamic youth programs rooted in community, joy, and personal development. Ja’Qirah’s leadership is already setting the tone for an impactful year ahead. Under her guidance, we will continue to support students in developing their academic skills, leadership potential, and emotional resilience.
