17 December, 2020

Holy Child Model Nursey/Primary School, Otukpo, Nigeria recently spent three days helping others and celebrating the birth of Jesus.

CHRISTMAS PARTY DAY ONE

As part of our Christmas celebration this year, we decided to share our love with the less privileged around us, sharing LOVE and putting SMILES on other people’s faces.

Today we began the journey and visited:
-a school, St. Joseph Nursery and Primary School, Otukpo,
-an old woman who has lost all her children and is alone, she is physically challenged and makes effort to always attend Mass and other activities in the church.
– a 7 year old boy suffering sickle cell and lives with her very poor mother and sibling
-Maria Eni Ihotu Motherless baby’s home
-Potter’s place Orphanage

CHRISTMAS PARTY DAY TWO

Today we visited
-a school Corpus Christi, Auwele and every child got a gift. They were very happy
-We visited a blind girl, Mary with her struggling family but unfortunately we didn’t meet Mary who had gone for prayer but we left something with the family.
-Basic six and five had a football match
-The past pupils, 2009 and 2011 sets had a football match too.
It was a fun and fulfilling day.
We thank God.
