Nigeria is poised for presidential election come Saturday, 16th February, 2019. The politicians are warming up for what promises to be a very unpredictable contest. While we pray and get our voter’s card ready, life must go on, especially in the school system.

And to let off steam from news of political gladiators and their exploits, Our Lady of Nigeria (OLN) Secondary School students, Oghara, Delta State, for three consecutive days, went to a wonderful Excursion at the famous Revelation Tourist Palazzo owned by the Legendary Musician, Professor Victor Efosa Uwaifo: An African icon, a self-made man, an erudite scholar, an authentic Catholic and a collosus in African culture who has taken original African music to the global podium. The students and some staff met the Legend live and interacted with him.

We toured his Revelation Palazzo and our tour Guide, Mr Chris Oburo was magnetic in decoding all that the students need to know about self determination, originality and authenticity of life as portrayed in the life and achievements of Professor Uwaifo. The Septuagenarian who looks smarter and healthier than his age spoke inspiring words to the students urging them not to wait for their destiny to wake them but to wake their destiny by learning and action.

At the end of it all, the students were highly inspired, richly educated and joyfully entertained. We now share on pictures some of these moments of joy with the SHCJ global community.
