Mary Aker

From: Benue State, Nigeria

Work Experience: Teacher and salesperson.

Interests: Teaching, listening to music, and reading.

I chose the Society because God himself called me to be one of the Sisters of the Holy Child Jesus. Their life of simplicity and humility drew me to them.

 

Veronica Akumsiyiga

From: Upper East Region, Ghana

Work Experience: Teaching and farmer assistant

Interests: Drumming, reading, playing football and volleyball

 

 

Augustina Ayinga 

From: Upper East Region, Ghana

Work Experience: Teaching and working as a health assistant for vaccinations

Interests: Reading, dancing and listening to Gospel music

 

 

Louisa Ayirah

From: Upper Easter region of Ghana

Work Experience: Teacher, salesperson and pharmacy assistant.

Interests: Singing, listening to music, reading inspirational books, cooking, and learning other languages.

I chose the Society because of her mission and spirit. There is much joy in helping people believe that God loves them and that he lives and acts in them.

 

Mercy Duru

From: Edo State, Nigeria

Work Experience: Teaching English at the Holy Child College in Ikoyi, Lagos. Working as a housemistress and as a secretary

Interests: Reading, playing football, singing and drumming

 

Bernadine Ekeh

From: Imo State, Nigeria

Work Experience: Working as a receptionist in a cosmetic company in Lagos

Interests: Reading history books, sports, singing, listening to music and cooking.

 

Celine Chidiogo Ezeoke

From: Anambra State, Nigeria

Work Experience: Teaching

Interests: Singing, reading, hairstyling and cooking

 

Euphemia Chika Igwe

From: Anambra State, Nigeria

Work Experience: Teaching in a primary school in Karu, Abuja, and selling kitchen utensils and clothing.

Interests: Writing, teaching, making friends, listening to Christian music and domestic work.

I chose the Society because of her Incarnational spirituality. The humble, hidden life of Jesus is so inspirational to me.

 

Victoria Ikwen

From: Cross River, Nigeria

Work Experience: Typist at a church.

Interests: Studying, reading, listening to music, typing, reflection and sharing of the Word of God with others.

I chose the Society because the Sisters are simple and warm. Their spirit of service is challenging yet encouraging, their apostolates are flexible according to the wants of the age.

From: Anambra State, Nigeria

Work Experience: Teaching and secretarial job.

Interests: Reading motivating books, singing, and researching to increase my knowledge.

I chose the Society because of their simplicity, humility and Ignatian spirituality of prayer. They have a deep interest in understanding and living out their scriptures.
