It was with great joy and excitement that the management, staff and students of Dr. William Kupiec Girls’ Academy Agbaduma-Okpo, Kogi State received our three SLT Members, Sr. Gifty Abane, Sr. Susan Igelle and Sr. Oyidu Okwori in the school premises on Tuesday, 8th July 2025. The students sang, danced and took photographs with the sisters. The workers together with the sisters working in the school also had some snap shots with the SLT members who came all the way from Rome.

The next day during the morning mass the manager of the school, Rev. Fr. Kenneth Ugwu welcomed the three sisters warmly. The sisters then used the opportunity to affirm the students for their good conduct and comportment. They advised the students to take their study seriously since academic excellence is the hall mark of Holy Child education. They equally thanked the Holy child sisters working in the school for their selfless service to the students.
The SLT after meeting with each of the sisters in the community made a tour round the school. They inspected the hostel, refectory, classrooms, library, sick bay, offices, administrative block and the convent. They were awed by the organisation and structures in the school. They proffered solutions on areas where they noticed some challenges. We enjoyed their presence in the community. They were lots of laughter, engaging discussions and thought-provoking prayers with the community members.
They SLT members finally bade farewell to Agbaduma community when they were chauffeur driven to St. Anne’s community, Otukpo having enjoyed the quiet and serene atmosphere that characterized the rain forest of Agbaduma.
It was a memorable visit that has left an indelible mark in the heart of everyone in the school.
