At Cornelia Connelly College, Nise, students eagerly anticipate their practical classes—so much so that attendance is never an issue on those days. Tuesdays and Thursdays are reserved for Basic Technology and Home Economics practicals, and they’ve quickly become the highlight of the school week.
The school’s management has fully embraced hands-on learning, having observed the excitement and passion these sessions inspire in students. In these classes, there’s never a dull moment. What you find instead is an atmosphere filled with curiosity, teamwork, and a genuine desire to learn.
We’ve realized that when students are given the right environment and encouragement, they can achieve remarkable things. Our teachers serve as facilitators, guiding students as they explore, create, and solve problem.
Over the past few weeks, students have completed a variety of impressive projects, including the production of extension boxes now used for powering gadgets in various school offices, a custom-built wooden side-stool, an assortment of snacks and local dishes, and even decorative flowers crafted from plastic and wire to brighten up classrooms and administrative spaces.
Cornelia Connelly College is proud of its students’ growing confidence and creativity, and remains committed to fostering an engaging and practical learning experience for all.
