Cherwell Centre is a ministry of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus – European Province. Located in historic Oxford, it provides an ideal space for personal days of quiet reflection as well as for larger groups needing space for conferences and/or workshops.
We welcome individuals who want to escape from their busy lives and seek some peace and space or would like to make a quiet retreat. Our beautiful garden and other facilities are accessible to all guests. We are within a 15-minute walk from the city centre and only a few minutes from the University Parks.

Accommodation
The house has six en-suite bedrooms for individuals wanting to stay overnight. A self-catering fully equipped kitchen is available for breakfast, meals, tea/coffee throughout the day.
Quiet spaces and Meeting places
We have a small Chapel and various small meeting places which can be used for liturgies, special celebrations, prayer and reflection for small groups or individuals.
