The annual conference of the Holy Child European Network of Schools took place on 13-14 March in Créteil, France.

It was attended by representatives from:
Ecole de Maillé, Créteil, France
Collège de Maillé Créteil, France
Holy Child Community School, Dublin, Ireland
Holy Child School, Killiney, Dublin, Ireland
St Leonards-Mayfield School, Sussex, England
The Cavendish School, London, England
Priory School, Birmingham, England

The conference offered participants an opportunity to share news of significant events and initiatives in their schools. It also provided time to reflect on the educational values at the core of Holy Child education. The 15 January 2009 will mark the 200th birthday of Cornelia Connelly, foundress of the Society of the Holy Child Jesus. Participants looked ahead to consider how Cornelia’s birthday will be celebrated in the schools.

Each year the conference is organised around a visit to one of the member schools. This year the students and staff of Ecole et Collège de Maillé hosted the group. The next conference will be hosted by St Leonards-Mayfield School on 20-21 November 2008.
