Rev. Aniedi Okure and SHCJ Sister Catherine Callaghan rally in Washington, DC to demand the return of hundreds of young women kidnapped from their school in Chibok, Nigeria.

The Sisters of the Holy Child Jesus have committed ourselves and the ministries sponsored and endorsed by the Society around the world to re-dedicate ourselves to practical solidarity with marginalized people and make our lifestyles an alternative to consumerism and environmental destruction.

Within our groups and ministries dedicated to social justice, we utilize the full potential of our educational tradition to be an agent for change, oppose forces that exploit and harm children, and respond to the crises facing our planet.

We are also a member of UNANIMA International, a non-governmental organization advocating on behalf of women and children (particularly those living in poverty), immigrants and refugees, and the environment.
