Celebrating our Octogenarian, a True Missionary of Africa

Sr Ann birthday

The 20th day in December is outstanding because it was not just a usual day but it happens to be in the week of Christmas. For us in the African province, this day was even more special. It marked the 80th  birthday of our dearest Sr. Ann, fondly called “Grandma.”

The whole day was spent thanking God for Sr. Ann Schulte, a witness of life.

Sr Ann in Church Procession
The parishioners came up during the Thanksgiving procession at the end of the Mass to congratulate Sr. Ann.

It is noteworthy that just as Sr. Ann every Sunday attended all the four masses at church of the Assumption Falomo, to assist as a Eucharistic Minister, the whole church joined her in thanksgiving procession at all the masses.

Back to the community on Keffi street in Lagos, Nigeria, it was celebration galore as friends joined us in a festive mood.
